In defence of Giles, he did get away with chinning Keegan on the pitch.

He's miles away from coming back if he isn't even in the country.

Would start with light training and then gradually build up and that's normally two months.

Also need to stop putting on stupid amounts of pressure when he does get back and start playing. Kodj was never the same force after his injuries in 2017 and McGinn wasn't himself either apart from the very end of the season.

That's what I thought.

Such a brutal injury. Ben Mee is an absolute berkshire.
i was amazed he wasnít sent off. It was a nasty spiteful challenge with intent.

Yep. Even if the ref missed it, it was very obvious to anyone who watched back on video. Unlucky there isn't a video system in place able to pick up on clear and obvious errors really. Oh, wait a second...

Well, they were probably too busy picking up on players offside by 0.0002 inches.
Im sure itís down to the video ref not wanting any grief for dyche

Could be back in light training with the squad as early as next week. Probably two months away from full fitness.

Good news if so.  If Watkins can hit the ground running Wesley will benefit from being reintroduced gradually.

Good news. I've been extremely critical of Wes, but if he can come back and prove me wrong I'd be delighted.

Yep. I'm not convinced we're intending to get another striker, so the sooner he's back the better

I thought he did OK for us when he wasn't isolated. With some pace around him, eg. Watkins I think we'll see better.

That would mean *gasp* playing two up front.

Watkins can play in one of the Trez or El Ghazi spots though, can't he?

Here's hoping. I've started to really dislike El Ghazi.

Exactly. Wesley in the middle with Grealish and Watkins either side might work....

It's a much better position to be in.  Wesley will have to be much better than he was last year, to force his way back in.  Instead of being first choice however poorly he played.

However you line them up I think that's a 3 that could work well. Add in another player of similar quality and I'll be very happy. AEG, Trez, and Davis are all solid options to have in the squad as cover.

Me too, and I'm not sure when that happened as I quite liked him in our promotion season.
