I’m sure I received some correspondence informing me that it was now an auto renewal, did anyone else receive similar?

Yes I did. You have to opt out.

Ah good, that’ll save me a job although i didn’t see how much it’ll cost this season, which is ominous!!

The water bottle was decent, I can’t think what the other gifts were before that.
Bobble hat the year before I think.

Yes, it looks good.  I'd got the impression there would be tiers of membership where if you paid more you had more chance of getting tickets, which I think would have been a shit way to deal with it.  But it does seem at odds with the Fab write up.

They've talked somewhere about being on the waiting list as giving some priority, so if they wanted to create a tier within membership they could say those that have been on the ST waiting list (say prior to the announcement) get first dibs before other members, though I'd wonder of that might reduce sales of membership, as you'd be only buying a 2nd tier membership.

I looked at this and thought that it potentially creates a fake ST waiting list. If you’ve paid £40 for a claret memebership, you’re not going to want to be behind someone whose just put their name on a list, so you’ll go on that list anyway, regardless of whether you want a ST.
This would apply to loads of people on here who live further away but have a claret membership just to ensure that when they are in Birmingham, they have a good chance of match tickets. They’ll be sticking their name down on that list regardless of whether they want an ST!

Same prices as last year incredibly.

There was a "Part of the Pride" scarf one of the seasons recently. I liked the water bottle though, the kids have used them pretty much every day at school ... they love them

Me too, wondering the same thing. Communications on these processes are just so clunky.

My wife got one in March telling her she was about to be auto renewed. Which was a surprise.as her membership had lapsed a year earlier and isn't on auto renew. Nothing happened. The whole system is a cross purposes.

Top tip, if you don't auto renew they give you a promotional code to come back giving you 30% off (and delivery is paid).

They told me I will auto-renew, but they haven’t done it.

They sent me a season ticket renewal email today. If I had a season ticket I’d have been pleased at the efficiency

I've had an email today to say my Claret Membership will be renewed, and I'll receive my lovely coffee cup and coaster?? In August.

As I am somehow auto renewing as a Villa Cub in the week I turn 60, I have emailed the ticket office to ask them to un-enrol me.
I’ve just got an email back telling me I need to contact the memberships team.
Just bloody forward it FFS! How hard is that?
