Pissing about at the back when it needed booting up or out.
As if we’d ever cock up at the death like that

For two sets of fans who reckon they are 'proper nawty'* the Millwall and Small Heath fans are very quiet tonight.

*To this day I still miss 'Beijing Red For Life'.

I think he still occasionally pops up, though not for a while. Back in the day he was absolutely hilarious, particularly in reeling in Manyoo fans who thought he was serious, notably when switching allegiance to Leicester and Man City

I think two Leeds fans were behind it. The amount of outraged replies they got about getting their Manure facts wrong from people who bought it hook line and sinker was hilarious. "Why goggle eyed David Moyes never play Booby Charlton anymore"? They created a whole fantasy world around the posts. My favourite was - "Big fight  with Liverpool fans in Crispy Noodle last night. Proper nawty. Two chickens killed in skirmish".

It was the best thing on Twitter for a long while. Those fights in the Crispy Noodle will go down in legend along with long shifts in the iPhone factory.

They did one about us once Just before a United game and the number of Villa fans who fell for it was hilarious.

They used to throw in quotes like "Why Manchester United owner Sir Alex Ferguson not sort things" and sit back and watch a bunch of people foaming at the mouth and clambering to point out he was the ex manager and not the owner. Along with them calling for a first team recall for 'Booby Charlton' and people falling over themselves to point out he was long retired and they couldn't even get his name right. It was like shooting fish in a barrel.

I think it was disgraceful they way they disrespected the memory of the deceased Sir Booby.

Forgot how funny that was. Didn’t he then go on about Booby Charlton being in heaven and how he’d be turning in his grave after some results?

*edit. Dave beat me to it

It appears Spanish policing hasn't changed much since 1998 if the treatment of some Wolves fans over there is anything to go by.

He was absolutely brilliant, remember how he used to tweet about his Uncle Peng?

He also used to go out of his way to particularly annoy Leeds fans, despite the account actually being run by a Leeds fan.

Few things have had me in actual tears of laughter as much as he used to.

The Big Sam one was funny as was the Boring James Milner one but admittedly not in the same class as Beijing Red For Life.

I used to like the one that was God. Not Paul McGrath, the other one.

I must have totally missed that one. Would I be right in guessing it annoyed the 'God Botherers' a tad?
