No points for the Bitters, and a few boos from the fans at the top of the league.

I'd love it if they ballsed this up. Love it.

If I could only have one out of Albion and Leeds to balls it up, it’s a tough one.

I hate Albion more, but Leeds ballsing it up again would be far funnier.

Totally agree about the Leeds bit, but not about hating Albion.

I couldn't give one tenth of one single fuck about Albion. They interest me about as much as any number of other small, piss pot, meaningless clubs - Watford, Bournemouth, Brighton, that sort of club.

Leeds are c***s, though.

Albion, the Noses, Wolves, fucking Coventry. They all want us to truly care about them. We don't. Every one them wish they could have what we have. Even in our deepest darkest moments we are bigger than all of them. They all know it and they all hate it.

The season we stopped up under Sherwood we got a unexpected win at Spurs. A win like that is vital over the next 15 games.

If I look at our home games to come - Chelsea, Tottenham, Man Utd, Arsenal I think at least one win there would be a massive shot in the arm to staying up.

This season isn't it "There's 91 league clubs....."?

This Liverpool side is good, but I still think the Arsenal of Bergkamp, Henry, Vieira, Pires et al. was the best I've seen.
The early-70s Leeds team were despicable thugs and cheats. But on occasion when, despite themselves, they actually played football they were a thing of beauty.

Blimey. I do remember some hideous showboating by them on occasion.  A thing of beauty it wasn't.
The combination of Best,Law and Charlton was definitely worth the 25p it cost to get into grounds at that time

unpopular opinion but the Keegan Newcastle side weren't the best prem side because they didn't win stuff
but for me they were the most exciting team I've ever seen in the prem to watch

How do you unfriend someone on here?🤬

If there’s a team that was the very definition of all fart and no shit or all
Fur coat and no knickers it was Kevin Keegans Newcastle. The mantra was everyone’s second favourite team and it made me want to puke. All that bollocks spewing out of John Halls mouth about the Geordie nation etc etc and they won precisely fuck all. There were two teams in the 95-96 season who won stuff and Newcastle United weren’t one of them.

Fanny arsed bottle merchants the lot of them. It was like Spurs had been exported to the NorthEast for a few seasons with all the media arse lickers drooling over them. Fuck em.

I did say it was an unpopular opinion

Fair point John but I hadn’t had a good chance to rant about it in a while.

I watched 2nd half of Cagliari vs Brescia, the one where Balotelli got sent off 7 mins after coming on as sub. Another sub for Brescia was Birkir Bjarnason. He offered very little both ends of the pitch. There was one neat back heel but that was all. He had a shot destined for the corner flag if a team mate hadn't intervened. Very pedestrian for the 45 mins I watched.

Do we want a Brighton win to put Bournemouth and Norwich deeper in the shit or a Bournemouth Brighton draw so they both drop two points? I think we need to hope Bournemouth and Norwich stay adrift leaving just one relegation place to avoid.

Blues thought they had done a Villa by scoring at the end to win 1-2 but it was ruled out.

Small Heath were winning 1-0, conceded a late equaliser but then thought they had made it 2-1 only to have it ruled out. I haven't seen any footage apart from the Small Heath bench going ballistic at the disallowed goal.

Apparently the ref blew for a head injury as sha put in the cross they scored from.
