I liked Pearson before he turned into an unstable paranoid psychopath. The pressure of the game clearly took its toll on him, but the time off seems to have done him a world of good.

I rate him as a manager but he still always looks one perceived offensive interview question away from wanting to twat the reporter.

I don't get it with Pearson, he almost relegated the Leicester team that Ranieri won the league with. Yes hes got Watford going recently but is it long term?

No, long term he must get too many peoples backs up. He comes across as a lunatic bully. I hope they go down.

Didn't Pearson get Leicester promoted from League One to the Championship, then promoted from the Championship to the Premier League and then keep them up? Although you have to suspect that Watford owners lack of patience + Nigel Pearson and his spiky character = a short honeymoon period.

They finished 14th that season, a way clear of the relegation spots.  We could do with Trezeguet "doing a Mahrez".

They spent most of the season being shit, 4 league wins up until April. 19 points from 29 games and were bottom and 7 points from safety. Then they started a mental run that culminated in winning the league.

He changed their formation from memory to 3-5-2 and started going for it.  He is a liability but heís always been a decent coach.

I remember him doing well as Smethwick's caretaker manager but they ditched him for Tony Mowbray, who ended up taking them down.

I backed Spurs to win 3-0 but they are already 2-0 up after twenty minutes and Boro look awful. But I know a Boro fan who is an absolute twat so every cloud and all that.

Disgraceful pitch invasion by the Shrewsbury fans. Wonder how much their fine will be.

O'Hare set up all three goals.

Not much of a mention  about that on their match thread!

Shrewsbury have a great chance if 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' put all those kids out again.

I realised Joelinton hasn't scored for 20 matches, but ffs, it is only Rochdale and they were probably just pretty much out on their feet then. And I also see that Rochdale have been taking tips from our defending for the third.
