What a cock up by the Wigan keeper for Albion's equalizer. More interested in taking a drink than realising he has just picked up a back pass.

They've been getting excitied about how well they are playing recently, and it was only £10 a ticket for adults tonight.

End result?

Attendance 18,161 with 600+ from QPR.

The opposition 'keepers have been throwing them in for Sandwell all season.

Tonightís excuses:

Be nice to get over 20k tonight but two weeks before Xmas, big home game on Saturday and live on Sky, so not sure we will.

QPR have sold only 610 tickets, so I reckon probably around 19-19,500 (decent enough given the circumstances)

All stopping at the German Market and watching it in Blues TV I think

The club really needs to act before the goodwill of the extra couple of thousand who have returned in the past. 3/4 years is lost again

Nearly 20,000, impressive. Pride of the Midlands.

Nah you are wrong, they all Brummies not Midlanders. None of them live outside the Second City.  Apart from all the Herefordshire or Redditch Blues that keep posting on there.

I was just about to post something about this game. I donít know why but given our recent form and struggles itís really pissing me off how good they look. At this point in time they just look so far ahead of us. Really fluid, dangerous up front, competent in almost every position.

Annoying isn't it?

Played 30, lost 4 and currently unbeaten in 9.

Best bit of play I saw earlier was Saka's peach of a cross for Arsenal against Standard Liege.

They are a year ahead of us after winning automatic promotion and having had a season in the Premier League.

The Wolves of 12 months ago were a better team than we are at present, plus to be presently 6th in the Premier League, considering all the Europa games they have played, is a superb effort
