Watford aren't going down under Pearson. We are going to have to finish above someone like Burnley or Brighton to stay up, 3 points to make up currently. This January window is absolutely crucial as to whether we achieve it.

Credit where it's due, Nigel Pearson has done an amazing job turning Watford around.

I remember him doing a good job as caretaker manager at Albion when they sacked Bryan Robson but they binned him off to give the permanent job to Tony Mowbray. I have always rated Pearson as a decent manager but he is never going to be a fashionable/exciting/universally popular appointment.

I liked Pearson before he turned into an unstable paranoid psychopath. The pressure of the game clearly took its toll on him, but the time off seems to have done him a world of good.

He's an arrogant, weird bellend, but a pretty good manager based on his Leicester job and the upturn Watford couldn't manage under their previous two managers.

The Villa version doesn’t have the entire midfield section

I'm so bored, I'm watching Cliftonville and Linfield.

It's perfect. A throwback to football in the 80's, crap pitch, players just wading into each other, the ref just letting them get in with it.

It's really good.

Cool. My uncle is a Vice-president at Linfield. I'll tell him; he'll love this!

I rate him as a manager but he still always looks one perceived offensive interview question away from wanting to twat the reporter.

Nowhere near as bad as how Klopp looks, the banana split mentalist.

He comes across like an over enthusiastic swinger in a CH5 documentary.

And you'd always get palmed off
With a headless centre-forward,
And a goal-keeper with no arms,

.....Villa's transfer window or HMHB song lyrics ??

My uncle has replied:

Quote from: Uncle Norman, Vice-president of Linfield
That's it-- a man's game -- no rolling around with us. Back on the building site in the morning!!!
That pitch is an old 3 G Darren and when ball hits ground a lot of rubber comes up. Should be banned. I spoke to players and they don't like it but that club has no money to replace it. They were top of league before we won so now we are top. They spend  all their money on players not facilities. Same thing in England.

Our first home game against Bournemouth...such a bloody shame we didn't get a draw that day. We would have a 4 point cushion on them if we had.
We battered them and lost because of a couple of howlers, we have made some right cock ups which have led to goals being conceded this season. Another example this week against Leicester.
not beating a ten man west ham as well  :(

That 4-4-2 formation will never catch on.
