It’s a hard watch is England on ITV.  So much to detest, but a young team makes it just about bearable. Worse when it’s a ‘qualifier’.

Football is always hard to watch on ITV, particularly with Tyldesley doing the commentary.

I rate him. He keeps the team ticking over and can dictate the pace. Like other underrated players who did the same job for Villa like Des Bremner, Kevin Richardson and Stilian Petrov.

End of the day England have won another game comfortably, are winning the group comfortably and scoring for fun. Saturday's game was barely competitive, tonight's has been a laugh. Yet still people moan and moan. Honestly I don't know what people want from England to not slag them off.

Some poor performances tonight, poor passing from Barkley, Rice and Keane. Poor crossing from the full backs and overall piss poor.

I quite like Southgate but on basis - other than i guess previous caps - did he start Michael Keane ahead of Mings?

How very dare you to compare that shit with those wonderful players.  Go and stand in the corner!

Keane and Alexander-Arnold have been crap.

Both full backs have been crap to be honest

True.  Maguire barely scrapes a pass tonight as well.

I am a big fan of Maguire but tonight has been his worst performance in an England shirt that I can recall.

A win. Five goals.  A chance for me to have a moan.  3 points and Tyrone Mings is now integrated.

I think Keane and Henderson are pretty average.

Front 3 look good though.

Wonder what happens when Stones returns?

How about, if they actually won something in my lifetime?

That might do it.
