Other Games - 2019/20

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that the eventual winner of the Champions League will not be partaking in this.

Quote
Four teams - from Andorra, Gibraltar, Kosovo and San Marino - were in Tuesday's draw for the preliminary round, which will take the form of a mini-tournament in Kosovo.

The semi-finals - Feronikeli v Lincoln Red Imps and Tre Penne v FC Santa Coloma - will be on 25 June and the final on 28 June, with the winner earning a spot in the Champions League first qualifying round.

They have just shown the VAR room for the women's world cup game between France and Norway.

It looks like mission control on the day of the moon landings except there are twice as many people and twice as many monitors involved.

Copa America kicks off tonight with Brazil vs Bolivia. I wonder if we have any scouts down there?

Colombia beat Argentina

They could have done with the country-wide power cut kicking in a bit earlier by the looks of things.

Wouldn't have helped too much seeing as the match was in Brazil... 😉

Argentina was every bit as dreadful as you can imagine. Messi invisible. Thatís why I feel Ronaldo all round is the better of the two players. Something that I believe personally will haunt Messi and diminish how he is viewed looking back on his career.

After being held in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City in the past two seasons, the Carabao Cup first-round draw for the 2019-20 campaign will take place a little closer to home - in a London supermarket.

Seventy clubs will discover their first-round opponents when ex-England midfielders John Barnes and Ray Parlour make the draw at the Colindale branch of Morrisons at 19:00 BST on Thursday.

I wonder who Villa will get?

Oh, we don't have to enter yet. We've already at least matched our performance in the last two seasons. What a team!

I was just going to say 'how has Choudhury not been sent off for that!?' , and VAR corrected it.

Terrible tackle!
