Now all we need is the round badge back.

gets my Vote

I’d like it back as well, Although more recognisable to the world as Chelsea’s now.

I've always liked it. What I can't stand is the awful entrance music/ screeching when the players enter the pitch. What is it?
Why not have Hi Ho Silver Lining instead??

Absolutely this. I’d be surprised if it’s not already on the new owners to do list.

Possibly in a minority of one here, but I can't stand it.  I don't really remember it being played at the ground, so don't have that emotional connection to it, and as a piece of music it's just shit.  Sorry.
You are not. I understand why it is part of Villa lore but it does nothing for me.

Yeah, me neither.

Same here.

The thing about run out music is that - as seen on here every time it is raised (remember general krulak getting asked about it all the time) - you'll never get a consensus out anything like one.

Agree. The current entrance “music” is just noise for the sake of noise.

It's always a good sign when this and the badge are the pressing concerns. For what it's worth I'm just glad we don't have a cup final song to run out to.

I quite like Crazy Train, Ghost riders etc, I even miss the Thunderbirds countdown.

Ricki Disoni's awful "Hey Aston Villa" was surely our worst walk out tune? I've got it on vinyl somewhere, unplayed.

I loved it when Theme from an unmade silent movie was played on Monday. Perfect ( even if it does remind me of the Thomas The Tank Engine theme)

I love it. When I hear it it makes me think of a successful Villa team and the round crest and old Trinity Road stand. I wasn't alive during those times so I don't have the connection with it that some do, I just love the song though.

I loved it when it was played on Monday because it resonates with me probably as im a certain age and triggers a lot of good memories. I cant well understand if it means nothing to you, because its never been a constant like Z cars or that shite they play at Newcastle

Can’t stand it personally means nothing to me but it is a part of the club from the last 40-50 years so I can see why it’s important to others.

The real enemy here is music piped into the ground for you to sing along to. Please do fuck off with this and a particular problem at Wembley.

Nothing is as bad as when we won the League Cup in 94, and they were playing the Coca Cola advert music over and over, which people were actually trying to sing along to.  Think they also played You'll Never Walk Alone as well.
