The colours are correct and the design is very traditionally Aston Villa. This years kit looks just fine And the away looks very decent in the images we’ve seen so far. The away kit has creative licence. It won’t be for everyone and it’s not meant to be. Colours and tradition are the important bits every new season. This delivers on that.

Just ordered the pro version.
I was in the shop on Monday and was surprised there was no mention of the new shirt anywhere. I thought there might be at least a manakin showing it off, but no. Not a thing. Just Kappa trying to get rid of what’s left, and not at what I’d call sale prices either. I did buy myself the 1980/81 home shirt again, love the material on that one. I have my last one to a friend who left to live in Japan.

I still keep an eye out for a Japanese bloke in a Villa shirt wherever I go here, mate!
Apparently the new kit is available in the store tomorrow. Weird as I didn’t think it was October yet.
