Having just seen the new Coventry City kits, i have severe Hummel envy.

yes, very nice.
The home one is not a million miles from our 87-89 away top
I'd accept any of those two as our away top.

Everyone in football seems to have a massive horrible sponsor ruining their kit this season. Some clubs at least allow you to buy it without the sponsor adorning it.

I wish we would. I'd pay extra not to have it on

And the sponsors would be paying us considerably less if that was an option.

What is wrong with just having a couple of players modelling the strips ffs? Don't know what this photo shoot is all about but it looks ridiculous......and so do the people in it!
the 3 ladies are quite hot. One has a nice fanny pack (US jargon) too- adidas  I think.

I know I said it during the World Cup but the Mexico away kit is a thing of beauty.

https://www.adidas.com/us/mexico-away-jersey/BQ4689.html

Looks better in the flesh. Imagine that for Villa with the green replaced by light blue.

I totally accept that, mate.
I just prefer tops without the sponsor

Haha. I thought the same thing, but that's life I guess. As long as we win in what we're wearing, I'm not too bothered. It's aimed at the youth I suppose.

The kappa photo shoot using VP could be purely for kappa. I’ve seen a few people slagging these shirts already vs Luke Roper. Both were designed by fanatics and merely have a Kappa or Luke Roper logo on

To be fair shirt sponsors pay for the TV coverage rather than advertising through shirt sales .

They pay for both, plus the exposure they get from the kit launch, advertising plastered all over the club website and social media and so on.

I've got that kit, it's my main Tuesday night five-a-side kit, if I'm not wearing a Villa one.

The Kappa logo look horrendous repeated over and over again on those jogging bottoms and shorts, it really does look like they've come from the sale rack at Sports Direct, along with some Lonsdale trainers. Awful.

I really like these kits. For a start they actually look like a Villa kit which always helps.
