I’m another one who was there for Big Ron’s first game in ‘91 and also yesterday. Both great, memorable away days.

Yesterday reminded me of Stoke away under Lambert when it was 1-1 late on, only for us to nick two late goals leading to carnage in the away end. Spookily it then popped up on my timeline that that Stoke game was 6 years ago to the day yesterday!

Luckily for me I’d also had a bet on us to win 3-1 both 6 years ago and also yesterday!

Is Kodjia trying to imitate Chris Gayle wit his new hair style?

Yeah, the link to BFR's first game was buzzing around my head yesterday, too.
There's nothing more exhilarating than a game such as yesterday's. What a buzz!!

Yesterday's game was the type of game that under bruce we would have lost.
Yesterday's game is the type of game under bruce, sheff wed lost and it will be the 1st of many for them because he has no plan B and doesn't do tactics. Get used to it wednesday fans! UTV!
Not sure that is relevant in this case as we won 4-2 there last year after trailing.

Similarities in both games with the late goals.

It was a great win given that we probably didn't deserve it on the balance of play although in retrospect they didn't have a lot of shots on goal.

I thought Axel was very composed when he came on which helped as Mings had a couple of uncharacteristic shaky moments.

Although Green did well for the first goal, I think Kodjia is a better player and is more of a threat.

Fletcher is a wiley old fox of a centre forward, it was a decent battle.

Before yesterday has there ever been a manager who has been on the losing end of the same fixture twice in a season, managing different teams?

I’m another one who was ‘91 and also yesterday.,im  old enough to have been there in 75  which in my opinion out does the previously mentioned 2 games
although all 3  games were  superb in there own ways

Kodjias movement around Jack for the second goal was superb, cracking shot too.

I'm just utterly bemused by how they all think they played well.

2nd half it was poor fare. They had more of the ball and higher up the park, as we were so sloppy with it and couldn't shorten our game.

But they created nowt beyond the penalty. If slinging crosses in that were blocked or headed away or Taylor making tackles counts as chances, then crikey, once they reach peak Bruce we will see the worm turn.

Yes bits of Hillsborough replanted all across Birmingham, including our old house in Northfield!

Yes, Paul Cook.
