Brizzol must be pissed off. To go and win at Sheff U and Boro only to draw at home to Wigan is a real pisser.

Oh well.

Great thing about today’s win is the confidence it gives the team to keep going for victory. Norwich won about 3 or 4 matches by coming back in the last 10 minutes in December and Jan and never looked back since.

Checking the table now, it is very much looking like a 3 horse race for the last 2 places.

Certainly from our point of view, it is difficult to envisage Boro or Forest winning 2 more games than us in the final 6 to be played.  If we win 3, Boro & Forest have to win 5 and even then, a draw for us out of the other 3 would still see us ahead of them.  Realistically, (based on us winning 3 more games) Boro or Forest need to win all of their remaining fixtures to catch us.

I'm convinced that if we finish ahead of either Derby or Bristol, then we are going to end up in the top 6.

If we can match Bristol's result in midweek, a draw would not be the end of the world on Saturday - A win would see us 5 points clear of them as well with 4 games left for us, 5 for them.

If we make the play offs, and it’s looking more likely, is the opposition better this year than last? Even more importantly, are we better than last year. Personally, I think the answer is yes to both questions and that makes life even more exciting. DFU Villa!

I remember the date, February 16th. The only home game I've missed and it was against The Bitters as I was watching Slash in Manchester.

Sat in a hotel, listening to us getting whopped at home, the crowd beginning to turn, reading after about the toxic atmosphere in parts of the ground. Team looking toothless.

The play offs were a distant dream, it wasn't going to happen.

What a difference six weeks can make!!!!

At the moment, we've got the momentum that Fulham had last season. I don't fear anyone in the play offs now Grealish is back. My god we missed him when he was injured but the difference since he came back. Quiet game yesterday for him, but when he picked up that ball before the second goal, you just knew what would happen.

Grealish had a quiet game but still created the openings that led to the late goals.

as others have said it looks increasingly like 2 places and three teams fighting it out for them

Villa, Derby and Bristol C
Bristol have by far the hardest run in and Derby have the easiest

if we can beat Bristol City at Villa park we would have one foot in the play offs

I don’t care who we play,
i would be a million percent more confident of going up than I was last time

Without doubt the opposition is stronger and we have the disadvantage of away leg last in the semis if we get there.
It’s still a huge challenge.

If we play the Baggies they aren’t great at home. We can certainly do them at their place and they’ll know it.

Hang on we’re only 7 points off the Baggies and I don’t fancy their next 2 games. #Believe.

Not sure who would be harder out of Leeds, t'Blades or WBA. Sheff Utd are more dogged but less skilled, the other two can be flaky.

On current form, system and players available I don't fear anyone.

I know I am getting ahead of myself but I would rather Leeds go up automatically as they are the team I would be most concerned about in the play offs.
