It’s not just that we are losing.
It’s the fact we are now just a very poor imitation of shite Steve Bruce team.

I have found a stream and I wish I hadn’t. Watching Hourihane be the usual c*** that he is, is bad for my blood pressure.
Add, Adomah, el khazi and Kodjia to the mix and the veins in my neck are standing out.
Any coincidence that it SB players?

Smith's hardly the only manager in the Championship having to make do with the previous manager's players.  By some distance, he's making the worst job of it though.

I wonder how often Kod touched the ball that half as his name was rarely mentioned by the commentators.

"Another frustrating result Dean."

"Yes no, I thought we controlled the game well, and there was nothing in it."

‘We started the first four minutes really well setting traps for the rats synonymous with Stoke.  Then we fall asleep and give someone of the quality of Vokes time to backheel into the net.  Apart from that and the other sixteen chances and four more goals they scored I thought there was nothing in the game.’
Vokes - really missed by Burnley

Even allowing for them not being his players Smith has to be doing better than he has been.

I've forgotten he is a Villa player. From superstar forward that we were worried about losing for 30m to anonymous winger who will leave for a couple of million in the summer. No club does player devaluation like us.

I bet the Stoke fans could'nt believe it when they saw Whelan was playing ,he was finished two years ago and yet he is one of the first names on the team sheet under Smith.

W2 D7 L5 (as it stands) is simply unacceptable in division 2.

After 28 managers - we are just so shit of hiring the right ones - I think after 28 tries, we should continue to hire no 29 - because it HAS TO BE the manger.

Who would you put in his place?

That is now just becoming a very lazy and boring response.

Sticking my head round the door, metaphorically speaking.

So it's business as usual.

Back to cleaning the kitchen then!

If we had dynamic players in front of him Whelan would be ok. It's that everyone else seems as slow as him that's the problem.

No mention of the serious injuries that have ruined him i see
