In terms of the way neighbouring teams think of us, Leeds are the closest match.

Weve been shit for 10 years but weve still dominated the thoughts of other local teams who have been doing temporarily better.

Leeds are hated because they are pond life not like the villa who are disliked cause we are bigger abd generally better

Villa are generally hated due to comments like this.

The truth you mean? The Villa are bigger and better than its local rivals, and lets face it, nearly always have been. The hatred comes from the green eyed monster.

Yep. Leeds regard themselves as a massive club despite having won the same number of league titles as Huddersfield, fewer FA Cups than Bury and as many League Cups as Oxford. All the while having enjoyed less time in the top flight than Small Heath.

We regard ourselves as massive because... we are.

I know it, you know it, they know it. Nobody can dispute our historical dominance in the region, nationally and internationally. Im just saying a lot of the hatred comes from the jealousy they have disguised by the arrogance they perceive us to have.

To be fair they've done well the last two years.  No "home" advantage, yet won promotion and survived fairly comfortably too.

I've no axe to grind here, one way or the other, but think that Mark Robbins and Coventry City have done brilliantly over the course of the last 3 years or so.

The rivalry has died down a lot since we relegated them.

Its been what 20 years since we last played them?

The blose rivalry died down alot but intensified after the enkleman fiasco

You wait till we play Cov again. It will be business as usual again as far as we are concerned in their eyes.

The more clubs that hate us, the better.
