That article sums up the debate well but the most telling bit is hidden towards the bottom, Mings and Konsa work as a pair whereas we've never had a proper partner for Torres.

I do wonder if we might be looking to flip our lop-sided system to having a more attacking right back and letting Torres play on the left and tuck in. Garcia works really well in that role and it means you could fit players like Rashford, Asensio and Rogers inas the 3 behind a striker without having to push 1 of them onto the right wing where they're less effective.

Where does that leave Maatsen?

There's a hell of a lot of accommodating to be done to get the best out of Torres. Begs the question whether the juice is worth the squeeze...Emery obviously thinks so but there was little sign of his elite distribution this season. Still the same flaws and that's with Martinez behind him and Kamara in front, one or both might be elsewhere after the summer.

Playing when we use different tactics, you realise that's an option, right?

Also getting the best out of your players isn't accommodating, it's managing.

Thanks for that, you are incredibly smart.

It's not about being smart, just simply not posting nonsense for effect is enough.

3/10 trolling attempt at best.

The debate about Torres strength and weaknesses is valid,he has obvious defensive frailties.
The question is does his passing ability make up for it.
There are plenty of us that think that it doesn’t.
A back 4 with Maatsen Torres and Cash is not imo good enough defensively.

And Cash is the most solid defender out of them 3 which says it all . Emery is yet to improve us defensively with any signings , it's a bit worrying .

Good news. I reckon we sometimes play better with Mings in the team. Are there any stats that back that up?

I’ve just seen the footage of him dealing with the vile Greenwood. Some of his best work yet. Would still bang.

I hadn’t realised that Greenwood had spat at Onana. Filthy animal. I wonder if their fans realise that he expected and whether they’re still prepared to support Greenwood. Fucking arsehole..

The same ****** is also questioning the authenticity of Greenwood’s assault on his ex girlfriend.
