I totally see that - I think Mings and McGinn will be seen as villa legends. Maybe more in the Ian Taylor mould. Both great players who have given there all, and seem to get what representing our great club means
I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I reckon he'll come back towards the end of the season, do just about OK and then be sold. He's got one of Emery's most loved players ahead of him, and he's going to struggle to get the minutes to get back to what he used to be.
Maybe mings will see out his contract here and then be offered a coaching role maybe with the youngsters.I think one more major injury and it wouldn't suprise me if he retired when his contract was up.
