Agree with most of this, he just didn't seem to learn that Joelinton was his match physically and adapt his game accordingly.

Good comments here, he needs to realise, he's a better player than getting involved in stupid physicality contests with inferior players. That's two teams who've specifically targeted him with 1:1 like this, got sent off against Palace and was mugged numerous times last night, hopefully JT can talk some sense into him. Fortunately its the odd game rather than a pattern but if teams have noticed it that he gets headstrong in a targeted physical 1:1 he needs to watch himself.

It was his pride. I understand that, sometimes I feel like that when I play, but he has to be smarter. He and Konsa ought to start for England.

Mobile and quick on their ways, something block head is not.

He did his job, can't be to blame for the goal.

He had a tough game against a £40m player. That striker may have caused problems but not enough for us to concede. It happens.

He's one of the worst forwards in the division.

Mings couldn't handle Joelinton at all - he really rattled him.

Surprised me; as Joelinton is a bag of shit - his scoring record is a bad as Davis.

I like Mings so much. Find him wonderful . On and off the pitch.

However why the heck did he do an awful challenge in a San Marino player for England
Last minute senseless .
I really wonder sometimes why he lapses or goes reckless?
Puzzled.
I had my concerns way back when with his over zealous tackling but he's not really about that sort of thing.
Just wondered why he did that challenge on the San Marino player and stoked if he's to be starting and up against the best striker in the world tomorrow Lewandowski.
Great experience so hope he gets the minutes

Kicking people is fun. If I was 6'5", I'd kick at least 9 people a day, regardless of where I was. Getting beat to the printer? Unleash a scissor tackle. Have that Pete from accounts.

I don’t think any player makes a challenge considering who they may or may not be marking next game.

And Lewandowski isn’t the worlds best striker.

He correctly got booked for the challenge so don’t see your point.

Decent form? That's a bit harsh. He might have had a rough time against a donkey tonight but in general he's been superb since New Year.

Ye, he's been great for ages now. He seems to have cut out the stupid blunders, now he he needs to stop getting sucked into battles by less talented players like Maupay and Joelinton. Look at his partner Konsa, who seems to play the game like he's meditating. He just stays relaxed and does what needs to be done.

Very true and beautifully described.

Ironically I think their on-field personalities complement each other.  A team of Konsa’s would barely break a sweat, whereas you never finish a match with eleven men if they all had Ming’s temperament.

What is most encouraging is that this is a defensive unit that is young and will only get better. What they need to have is a strong group pushing them to stay at that level. We don’t have that yet and one key injury could dismantle it all. We have got a glimpse of that with Cash being out for a bit. But that will be built in time through the academy and the next couple of windows. And it will apply in other areas too where we are not as strong or deep.

All in all, even with the recent stumble in form we should be very encouraged at what we are putting together.

Ain't that the truth. There wouldn't be a man, woman, nor child standing if I were the size of Tyrone. Thankfully I'm not, since I work in a hospital.
