Agreed. He's been very good recently. Cut out the daft mistakes.

I might be imagining it but he came back from the England games ropey and has only got his concentration back after a sustained period with no internationals.

I think he went back to the basics and now takes less chances - straight into row z if required. It's helped a lot to clean up his game.

Barely put a foot wrong for several games, seems to have stopped trying to do fancy stuff and gone back to basics. He and Konsa look a very solid pairing.

Has been in decent form but tonight was a return to the very bad days. Just what does be going through his head. Loses the first collision with Joe Linton and spends the rest of the game trying and failing to get even with the worst forward in the division.

Decent form? That's a bit harsh. He might have had a rough time against a donkey tonight but in general he's been superb since New Year.

He just need to stand off him. Get close to Joelinton and most will lose out given his physicality

Ye, he's been great for ages now. He seems to have cut out the stupid blunders, now he he needs to stop getting sucked into battles by less talented players like Maupay and Joelinton. Look at his partner Konsa, who seems to play the game like he's meditating. He just stays relaxed and does what needs to be done.

I thought tonight he lost his head a bit.

I think he wanted to rough Joelinton up and lost lost first contact. He seemed to have it in his head that he needed to prove something to him and kept trying to physically challenge him.

He didn't have a bad game, but I felt his concentration wasn't quite there. Having a good season though.

Excellent last few months but poor tonight. First mistake he should've just kicked it out for throw in but instead tried to slug it out with one of the worst forwards in the league, messed up and that played on his mind rest of the game.

Thought Konsa was superb so of the two he looks more like the England international for the summer.

He's world class when the ball is in front of him, but on  his shoulder or in a chase he's demotes himself to a pub footballer on occasions  totally misreading the play.

Think the last 4 or 5 games been excellent, tonight taking chances when just needs to do the basic things well not sure if it's a lack of concentration at times but it crept back in again tonight.

He did his job, can't be to blame for the goal.

He had a tough game against a £40m player. That striker may have caused problems but not enough for us to concede. It happens.
