I nthat end that's probably a decent day for England given it is 100% a bat first test.

Setting off now for Trent Bridge hoping for a great days cricket to justify what’s going to be a circa £250 bill😳

I hope you've packed a lot of water and sunscreen, looks like it's going to be a very hot first day or 2. I think the report earlier was saying it'll feel like 36-37c for the players so might be one where the spinners do more work than you might expect on day 1.
It was difficult specially after about mid day we were in the sun till after tea. Not sure who suffered most us or the players.

It’s got the feel of a 330+ for maybe 2 to it at the minute…
Hopefully when breakthrough comes there is a domino effect
That 2 feels v optimistic now….and definitely a big plus on the 330
Marsh / Taylor vibes from ashes at TB gone by
Up to first fall it was as comfortable as it could be for Black caps. Nothing not even a whisper from either the pitch or the bowlers.

I'm feeling sorry for Bashir now. He is so far from test match quality but its not his fault they keep picking him
Ben and  Bash come as a package but as you not sure why Bashir is in the team. I have seen him many times and he does not spin the ball either from the wrist or the pitch so when he bowls he’s just an ineffective medium pacer.

Poor drop. Smith went across Root and cost him the catch.

Sure they don’t even discuss picking your best quality keeper…

That is a brutal delivery from Stokes.
