Brilliant brilliant squad player.

We need more of those.

Comically one-footed but great presence and ability in the air.

His one foot has started to look, dare I say, cultured.

Absolutely superb today. The first 20 minutes the ball was a magnet to his head. He’s arrived at a point where he is never a liability when he plays. One of the top defenders in England in the air.

To have squad players like Kortney and Marv who can come in and be so solid for us is fantastic.

Hause has been out with one thing or another for so long, yet he slots and and looks completely at home in that back four.

He’s superb. As good a 3rd choice central defender as you’ll get. If all our back ups get to his level we’ll be doing very well.

I still have a soft spot for Engels and would like him to get a run at some stage. We'd probably have to be in the Europa Vauxhall Conference for that to happen, though.

I'd be amazed if he was still here next season. There's clearly something not right between him and Smith so best for all parties that he just moves on. Shame, as in the early part of last season he looked really good, but I don't think I'll ever forgive him for that fuck up against Spurs.

Amazing that he was a few inches from more than making-up for it a week later at Wembley.

There was a good interview he gave Belgian press, (lifted/translated by I think the Express & Star,) last week. He said he feels very at home here (yes... many on £x'000 a week might well do) but genuinely seems to have affinity with the club/area. He has a young family and his eldest has settled into school in Birmingham etc. He also seemed particularly shook by the injury Wesley suffered.

Hause hasn't put a foot wrong when called upon this season.

So Hause is in the team vs West Ham.
Will be part of the back four left hand side left footed.
I predicted he be in but was for expense of Targett not Mings
Glad he's in  solid.
Every faith he can handle Antonio

I like Hause and hope he does well today, though I do find it odd that last week v Arsenal, and before that v Wolves, he was considered third choice behind both Mings and Tuanzebe - this week he's selected in place of both of them.

£180k?! How much are we paying him?! He's a back-up defender. The world's gone mad. I've just sold a Ford Fiesta and I get/have to do my job every time! Most days. If it suits me.

I was thinking that myself!

Here's a pic of his car at the scene
