I reckon they wanted to do him/Mings/El Ghazi together in a big announcement - El Ghazi forced it with his "Announce Me" Tweet so they are hoping that Hause and Mings can be announced together now, but maybe the Mings delay (if that's what it is) will put a spanner in that as well.  Purely guesswork by the way!

That's not what he said though, is it? His point was that there isn't any rush to sign centre backs as we won't be playing any matches in the next three weeks, not that we should go out and sign injured players. If we sign Hause today or on the 26th June, it makes no difference.
