Well done Aston Villa. We have such a diverse community and fan base. I want Aston Villa to be the leader in the world promoting inclusion and against racism or sexism. To stand alongside all communities; irrespective of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

Very glad to see this, but also very depressed to see the outpouring of hate and bigotry in response on social media. Which really just reinforces the importance of these initiatives.

Unfortunately this type of forward thinking always attracts the online knuckle draggers. Well done to the club.

I  was at Sixways last week  watching Worcester Warriors. They were supporting this also and were handing out free rainbow laces.

I think all of the top flight rugby clubs did a game about this time last year. Last weekend I think it was generally in support of Gareth Thomas.
