Agree with lots of the original post from the Bluenose regarding the game but he seems to have conveniently forgot a few things :-1. One of the three major players they were apparently missing was very kindly loaned to them by us, on the basis that he’s about our 8th choice in midfield as he’s nowhere near good enough for us. Despite this fact, they can’t do without him. Says it all.2. We were missing McGinn. Probably our most influential midfielder this season who runs all day long and is in great form.3. Chester had a mare as he clearly wasn’t 100% fit but had to play as he was our only option.4. Their second goal was scored by a player who was signed against EFL rules.
This shit about no Villa fans in Birmingham is bollocks. Their supporters generally come from South Birmingham. Ours come from the North Districts amongst others. They have to pass through the city centre to get to Villa Park. Ours will quite often get to Villa Park without having to pass through the city. And what, none of them life anywhere else? I see posts by London blue, Redditch Blue amongst others. Utter utter bullshit. And drinking in town in the evening? Who generally wears a football shirt to a pub in the evening? I go back into the city centre to get a bite to eat after home games and it's full of claret and blue shirts that's been to the game. No blue tops. I see more Arsenal or Chelsea tops in New Street than I do Blues. They can't beat us on the pitch so they have to try and best us off it.
Surprised that they haven't mentioned the period of play where we kept the ball for all the oles preventing them scoring. Loved that piss taking though.
Those olés* are still ringing in my ears. Sums up that club, no class.
Their belly aching, self-pitying whinging and general saltiness the day after the derby is almost as enjoyable as the game itself. Do they really believe the utter shit they come out with? It’s like a cult for imbeciles over on that SHA teletext site. Love it.
It's always been a myth that Birmingham have more support in south Birmingham, I worked for the council, well turned, for 43 years and they NEVER out numbered us.It was only when we moved to Stratford upon Avon
