By the way, great of the less ugly Gardner brother to sit himself in the Blues dugout. I hope the fans near there gave him what for.
I put him In there as a few of our over excited "fans" we giving him a lot of stick when he sat in the stands. If their fans acted like that we would be furious.
It's his brother who is the nose not him.

He was in a no win situation and probably should have just stayed away.

Joining Small Heath is most definitely a ‘no win situation.’ As is supporting them.

Apologies if this has been posted before but it is pure class.....

I hope my nose cousin who lives there sees that. Although even if he does he might not get it .

That's been done using an app or something, i'm pretty sure the actual sign hasn't been written on.

I was thinking of posting a list like that to sum up how long it had been since they beat us in the league but then decided to simply point out that my youngest daughter, who is now in her second year of Comprehensive school was not born the last time they took three points of us.

I think our concerns about how Nyland would cope in the derby proved unfounded.

Craig Gardner has a very punchable face.

Why are they all so obsessed about how many of us do or do not drink in town and what about those of us who try to avoid pubs and drinking in general?

Unfortunately I don't know how to post clever linky things but if you want to see a movie clip and accompanying piece of music that really sums up Alan Hutton's run and goal just go onto YouTube and type in 'Flash Gordon Movie Clip Football Fight'. I wish I could put the music track and the goal together on here. Maybe somebody else can.

In the history of Villa Blues derbies I can't think of a better goal to decide the match than the one from the Scottish Cafu.

Alan Evans in 81 was pretty close
Evans was a one-in-a-million strike - i was stood on the Tilton at the time and my reaction was just sheer disbelief.

Mine too.  I was perfectly placed behind the goal to see it.  As I recall it was the one available place in the goal not covered, a super strike.

I have to be honest and admit that it was difficult to express much genuine joy as our 4 goals went in yesterday as all I could think about was the fact that we do not carry the name of the city and also, due to me having to drive yesterday, I was unable to make it into town for a drink. It felt like a hollow victory to be honest.

Evan's goal was a beauty & a last minute bolt out of the blue. But every goal against that shower is beautiful.

That’s definitely their big thing with us at the moment. “If the city is yours, why do you all fcuking drink in Lichfield or Sutton.” Etc. Really gets their goat. Even my normally sound mates was giving it the “we had 200 waiting for you lot yesterday in town” Bertie big Bollox shit. Fcuking tools.

Was that before or after they arrived in their buses. I had the misfortune of having to walk through their away end once it was almost full and just smiled to myself in disbelief when they referred  to villa fans as scum and genuinely commented on what  fucking shithole Vila park is.

It then dawned on me they probably have not been to the temple of doom to compare.

4-2 on your big day out just epitomizes what It means to them.
I enjoyed It for a change but now I am looking forward to Deano locking horns with a decent team and manager.

That's nothing, you should have seen how many old men they had muttering in our club shop.

Why were they waiting in town when they already know we never go there?

Did anyone notice their No12. Dean when Albert had been brought down
he went over & seemingly gave Albert. Kick or scrape his studs on him, I thought he was at it all match even when they got the first he was running with his hand cupped on his ear saying cant hear the Holte now!
The other notable thing was Tammy Abraham went over to the lad who was being escorted out after running on the pitch after final whistle & gave him a big hug,
I know you shouldn’t go on the pitch but Tammy’s action was kind also
he generally gets it here & what we are about, hope we can sign him if we go up
