I thought Albert was excellent until the injury - bad tackle. Hopefully he's not out too long.

To put 4 past them is a great feeling. Again, Deano spots the tactical mistakes of the first half and that sets us up nicely. Hutton what a run - I notice agent Gardner didn't do anything except put his arm out to stop him.

Seemed to hyperextend his knee as he fell.

Crazy, what the fuck have I watched?

Defensively awful, Chester was attrocious.

Other thsn our 4 goals we barely had a shot.

Should've been 0-2 down, 3 minutes later we're 2-1 up.

Grealish and Hutton scoring, the latter running from the Halfway line.

No real stand out performers.

Absolute crazy game.

Fucking brilliant stuff.

We win the game, they win the 'scored at Villa Park' moral victory.

I'm going to cut Chester some slack. He looked way off his game and not ready to play. In fact had it not been this game and if we had any kind of reserve that could fill the role I don't think he would have.

I knew Huttons goal reminded me of another.
Lets not get carried away though. We can all accept Maradona and Hutton are equal in terms of football skill, but Diego has the better all round sports ability due to his basketball skills.

For a neutral, entertainment wise that's as good as it gets for derbies. Blues on top up to the time Adams hit the post, but once we scored there was a big improvement in our play, in the 2nd half were the better team and looked fitter and stronger, apart from a few defensive lapses.
i
I was criticising Albert before the match, but today was his best performance of the season, hopefully he's not too badly injured. Well taken goal Kodj, great header Jack, I admired your brilliant precision with the pen Tammy and as for the Scottish Cafu, I shall remember that goal forever.

Up the Villa

What a shambles our defence is at times yet we managed to beat them comfortably. Now they can take the moral victory and shove it where the sun don’t shine in their troll holes.

Seemed to hyperextend his knee as he fell.

Looked more of ankle problem. What happened to Lansbury?  Only on for a few minutes.

Whenever I watch Jack's goal and they show Craig Gardner all I hear in my head is "look at his face, just look at his face".

Some of the passing we engaged in across our back four was fucking terrifying.

It's nice that we patiently keep the ball, but fucking hell, it was edge of seat stuff at times I thought, so close did we come to giving it away.

Thought Blues were the better team the first half hour.

Fuck them, though, the dirty ******, they got what they deserved.

The Hutton goal was one of those mouth open 'What Did I Just See?' moments. Bloody wonderful.
