Albert's playing with a swagger in his step. Nice to see.

Finally woke up after their goal. We look so much better when we pass the ball quickly, they can't stay with us when we do. Still look dodgy from set pieces.

Pretty piss poor until they hit the post and then that woke us up and we upped the tempo. We need to pass it quick to expose them.

Whelan is far too deep when we get the ball, it means Hourihane looks up and have 40-50 yard passes to make, which he's shit at. I'd bring Lansbury on for him at half time.

Great comeback Villa but this ref is atrocious. How the fuck Gardner has not been booked simply defies belief.

Gardner is such a wanker. Perfect player for that lot. They'll love him as he has pashun when actually he's just shit.

Has had a good first half all the same. Was his ball in for their "goal"

If you had the misfortune to have to create the perfect SHA payer, you would get Graig Gardener.  He really is the embodiment of that club.  Wanker.

The ref let a handful of clear yellow card would go, and then booed a mistimed one from a winger. He really does need to get a grip before it inevitably ratchets up second half.

All Villa need to do easily win this game is put better crosses in.  Even our worrying poor goalie can't stop us wining if we do that.

I’m Hoping for a big improvement second half, as we didn’t play like a Smith team at all that half.

Best I've seen him play for a while.

I would say that when they scored, they had been the better team up till then. The ref had sent them a message that their shitehouse tactics were ok by him, when he didn't book their clogger in the first minute. Didn't their no. 9 clothesline Nyland for their goal?

However, since their goal Albert has stepped up a level and been really impressive, and if we're smart there are goals on the counter to be had 2nd half. At some point maybe Bolasie for Tammy and put Kodj in the middle?

We're still in this. They are shoite at the back. But... if we concede again, I say we go all out on taking out greasy. I'll take three reds to see him out for the season
