Southampton-Villa on a Friday night...What the actual fcuk...it was horrid enough last time, ending in Deano's dismissal, how do the BSkyB bods think we'll not stink-out the place again?

Us playing Everton on that Friday night in August 2019 was amazing atmosphere so that can be plus of people excited for weekend + fantastic villa performance and win.

Of course Southampton likely won't evoke same feeling unless Che Adams does a Deeney infront of the Holte end.

Guess it will be on general sale longer as doubt Saints will take their full allocation so that will have Flinstone spewing fury into his keyboard at how terrible we are for not shifting 40k seats quicker.

Its at Villa Park so they are expecting a 4-0 win and a Coutinho / Ings / Chambers masterclass.

Of all the fucking about, the one that I mind least is a Friday night home game. I realise it means a lot of fucking about for those that have far to travel, but I'm a selfish twat so soz.

Can't stand night games.

Me either. The M6 is a nightmare at the best of times, but they seem to routinely shut it in the evenings.

I prefer them to early kick offs, or Sundays full stop.

Sunday piss ups aren't so bad now I can "work from home" on Mondays.

Moved games always cause inconvenience and extra cost for fans, especially if coming from any distance (in my case from London). Night games, if I can go, mean overnighting at the Campanile Hotel (comfy and cheap and midway between VP and New Street Station), so that will be Friday vs Southampton sorted; Sunday transport is always a bitch no matter what time they play; Saturday late games mean a late arrival home. It seems that Saturday 3 o'clocks are an ever-diminishing concept that we have to get used to (especially if we are climbing up the table as we hope), so we'll have to get used to it. Rant over - but just to highlight the difficulties for those who have to travel - and I only come up from London; there are lots more whose journey is much more challenging (and expensive).

I’m kind of at peace with fixture changes it goes with the territory these days.

Don’t mind most of the kick off times but absolutely hate the lunchtime kick offs. Midweeks are a pain as I can’t use public transport and have to drive.

I prefer the early kick offs. Due to travel time and how early I need to get to VP to park, standard 3pm games kill the rest of the day for me.

12:30 starts mean that I’m back home early enough to do something else in the evening.

October TV ones announced already and by the look of it, it's nearly all of them.

That would be the one that's usually midweek in December. The whole game week live on Amazon.
