I hope our game against Newcastle gets moved to a Friday night.

No thanks.

I'd have all the home games as 8pm Friday nights to be honest. That atmosphere against Everton was poetry.

Maybe, but I want to have a nice drink after the game without being rushed to drink up as soon as I arrive. Anyway that won't be moved unless it's at reduced capacity which would negate any atmosphere bonus.

Plus the atmosphere was pretty great at most games since Smith took over, regardless of kick off time. So may as well be a time that's convenient.

Just found it, no BT games either. Back at Villa Park on a proper football day 😊

https://www.premierleague.com/news/2174186
Is there any chance Amazon could knacker that ?

Looks like they just have all the games from that Man City midweek I was on about plus all the matches currently scheduled for 28th December (a Bank Holiday this year because Christmas and Boxing Day are at the weekend).

Great thanks. Saturday 3pm then - perfect. 9 weeks today.

This early part of the season I see the listings are up to September . Villa on sky twice for those unable or unsure about going to matches as well as those who are watching in UK. Highlights will continue to be on Match of the day and also on Villa Website , SkySports and Sky Sports You Tube channel.

11 Sept
Chelsea v Aston Villa 530pm

18th Sept
Aston Villa v Everton 530pm

Not just fridays. I was hoping they’d have completed a lot of the roadworks over the last year but it was still closed after the Walsall game on wednesday. Late finishes are a nightmare journey home for anybody travelling north of Stafford.

Does anyone know when they'll look at the schedule for late Sept?  I'm asking with particular regard to the Man U game on 25th September

Odds on home game against Man Citeh being moved to the last Monday of November? The atmosphere a cross between 030303 and when Figo went back to Barcelona and had to dodge swine-heads when taking corners. Maybe we'll stick to cabbages. Don't fancy the sight of dead rats being chucked onto the pitch.

So the Wolves game is not live, bit of a surprise.
