The Premier League just spent  £200m on agent's fees and more than a billion on transfer fees. Pleading poverty?! Trolololol.

and clubs making redundancies of staff on the living wage is a bit of a disgrace too...

Not to mention dinosaur mascots.

But the point is if you’d paid for your season ticket you might or might not still be calling the clubs greedy bastards.  The point is you aren’t and therefore they want to recover that revenue somehow.  As long as I know for definite it isn’t going to the broadcasters I have less of an issue with it and everyone has a choice at the end of the day.

Yeah. Hope that doesn't change. No point in a Saturday game if I can't go. Would rather we played Sunday afternoon or Monday night. Not on sodding PPV though.

Will the games be available to stream for people without Sky/BT subscriptions?

I think if we’d just lost 7-2 to Liverpool rather than won I would find it much easier to tell Sky to fuck off over our games being on PPV.

Leicester now Sunday, October 18 (7.15, Sky Box Office)

A 3:15am kick off for me again. Fucking hell. And against those bastards. And an 8am Monday morning start at work.

Just win Villa.

Surely not PPV in Japan? You volunteering to stream the game for us on your phone? 😃

There is an additional point though, that I and many like me chose not to ask the club for a refund on me and my kids season tickets, partly because I was happy to keep my money in the club. Now I’ve got all this bloody email vouchers that I can’t do a lot with from last seasons post lockdown games. Not the clubs fault that the pandemic is still going strong, but the vouchers at this moment in time are meaningless and yet the club would be happy for me to pay £15 a game!
I understand the argument that these are games that wouldn’t be on TV anyway, but I think they should of done something for season ticket holders and secondly £15 for anyone is too much, especially when people including in the club have a really uncertain future. A token gesture of a fiver probably wouldn’t of pissed everyone off so much, and still would of raised finance for the club
