Ah, the Tweet was misleading then, apologies. Either way I won't be able to watch, though I'm coming round to thinking that might not be a bad thing...

So typical of SKY to think the “race for fourth” is the pinnacle of fucking football.

As opposed to the race for 17th?

I always take more interest in the relegation battle, not just when Villa are in it. The only thing you could say in their favour is that the game chosen has two teams with something to play for, which isn't the case with any of the games featuring the bottom three.

The game is monumentally huge for us, I am already massively nervous and I will be ecstatically happy if we stay up. But champions' league places on the line will always take precedence, particularly when one of the teams involved is Yanited.

And I'm really pissed off it's not on Sky.

It's not a typical relegation battle, in that there's nothing that any of the three teams involved can do individually that'll make them safe. Everybody's outcome rests on the results of the others. Of paramount importance to us, but when one of our desirable outcomes is three goalless draws, well I can see how it'd probably not be all that appealing to the 'neutral'.

It's £25 for a month pass from BT, but...

"Can I watch the BT Sport Monthly Pass on my set-top box?
No. The monthly pass lets you watch BT Sport through our app and web player on compatible devices.

You can't use the BT Sport Monthly Pass to watch BT Sport through a set-top box from Sky, Virgin or any other TV provider."

"On TV and console

Download now on PlayStation, Xbox, NOW TV devices, Apple TV and selected Smart TVs, or cast to your big screen with Chromecast Ultra."

"How do I download the BT Sport app and online player?
Search for 'BT Sport' in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Microsoft Store (for Xbox One), NOW TV App Store, PlayStation Store or the apps menu on your Samsung Smart TV.

Select the app, then follow the download instructions for your device."

I bought it just before the Newcastle game, so it will run out today.

Oh well, £30 a ticket and however much saved on a train and drinks.
