They say there will be no ball boys in the stadium and, of course, no spectators.  So what is going to happen when the ball is launched into Row Z?  Who is going to fetch it back?

Surely not every football ground has a 'Row Z'.  What is the non league equivalent? Row H maybe?

It's dawned on me that my birthday may actually see the Villa play a match. 10th July has always been a bit shit as football (barring the World Cup/Euros final stages) doesn't happen.

Now when it does I can't go and watch it! Still I'm hoping our game that weekend will fall on the Friday night so that I can at least watch it.

Let's hope the match doesn't spoil your birthday

Haha, hadn't thought of that. Then I'd have the disappointment circa 85% of people have faced.

I'm quite glad that Villa never get the chance to ruin my birthday. Brian Lara got his 501 not out for the Bears on my 14th, that was nice.

Pretty sure I read that ALL of our 10 remaining games will be split across Sky and BT - Can't remember where though?

For the Sky free to air ones, will they be streamed on their website?  I don't have a telly (but pay me license!) so I don't have access to Freeview etc.

My 62nd birthday last year was nice, May 27th. My 25th waiting for a boat back across the channel was OK too.

Just had an email from Virgin showing which channels games are being shown on. According to it our game v Sheff Utd is on Pick, so free to those who get TV through Virgin.

Not according to the link below, or the current listings. There are eight Pick games listed, but none of them feature Villa. As well as for Virgin Media subscribers, Pick games are also free to those that have Sky but not the sport channels, I think.

That's what I thought was the case, which is why I was surprised by the email from Virgin.  Here's the link

Well, hopefully they're right. Should know for certain nearer the time if the listings update to show Pick have Villa on.

Is it possible to buy a single BT event or do I have to buy BT sport for a fixed term?

I'll have to update my Sky package as well.

I think you have to get BT for the month. There is no BT equivalent of NowTV that you can just get for the weekend.
