Predictable team selection with a more than predictable result.

We will huff and puff but in the end they will outsmart us - we will go a goal down and then on 60 mins the obvious changes will take place and we end up being a rabble for the remainder of the game with no shape and they will score another. Its really getting depressing now

0-2

He cannot survive if that is the case

I have gone for the draw. I think Bristol City have peaked under Lee Johnson and will be mid table this season. I don't fancy them to beat us but the way we are playing I don't fancy us to beat them either. I think privately Bruce would take a draw now.

If it doesn't go well I can see the support turning on him big style.

We should start with Axel and Bolasie and we have a chance.

We will start with Albert and Jedinak and we’ll lose 2-0.

Anything but a defeat. Blimey, has our season petered out in complete dullness already? I hope not!

I refuse to contribute to a Pre Match or Match thread whilst this man with an ego as bloated as his belly  is in charge.

Yup. Today I'm in the 'Who gives a shit' mode. Trying to get any enthusiasm over a Friday night game away to Bristol City is beyond me right now. Hopefully by Friday I'll care more.

I think the next Villa-related one is the home fixture v Preston.
