I watched Amavi on Fox yesterday looked very comfortable playing left back, I wish we had given him longer.

John Carew played for Lyon for three years so I'd assume he can speak French.

"Yannick Bolasie is returning to Everton after the player exercised an option to return to his parent club," said a Villa statement.

No need to guess anymore. It's official.
What is official?

Does it really matter?

It was obvious from some of the comments that people were unsure what had happened. So I posted a link for clarity. It saves people making stuff up. It might even be considered helpful in some quarters.

 ;)

So no, it doesn't really matter. He's gone, the whys and wherefores aren't really that important unless there's another point you want to be  making.

Nothing really matters on here. It's one of millions of forums where people chat about stuff whilst they've nothing really interesting or important to do. I

I can run my comments by you first though, if it's a problem?

Do what you like. Just don't get upset if someone disagrees with you.

I'll have you know I have plenty of important things to do and I come on here precisely so that I don't have to do them.

Didn't we do a deal with him that he stayed with us and if we didn't go up we'd let him go.

For what it’s worth Villa75 I found it useful as it’s nice sometimes to have a few facts in these discussions and not conjecture 👍

Bloody hell Villa75, can there be a thread left where your not winding someone up?

I quite liked this fella at first, he seemed exciting maybe a little unpredictable. He’s certainly become quite stale for somereason and off the pace. This seems for the best.

I’m talking about Bolasie by the way, not Villa75.

put it this way, I lost a £20 bet that he'd not last a game for us andf I couldn't be happier that he is no longer here. That geezer with the Bagpipes has already received the money

You nearly won it. He couldn't run properly for his first half dozen appearances without looking like he was shot and when he finally neared full fitness he couldn't be arsed with the donkey work of tracking back.

Disaster loan, spent months getting ''match fit'' threw in a few games, then threw in the towel. Rubbish Brucey transfer dealings by numbers again.
