We've played well for the most part but defensively we've looked awful a number of times.

We're shipping goals at the moment. If a Bruce team isn't tight at the back then the whole thing falls down.

Completely undeserved in all ways.  We absolutely need a new centre half.  That should be the absolute focus for the club before the end of this transfer window.

Less of that, you know the rules.

Green shell shocked

I honestly don't blame him. No doubt wondering why he's not in the starting eleven, and now Bruce has brought in 2 other wingers so he hasn't a hope. I'd be out of form at this point too. What's the incentive for him to do well? It doesn't get rewarded.

On the other hand, maybe he just plays well in a couple of pre season games and then just looks fucking wank when the proper stuff starts.
I do get a bit fed up of reading the constant excuses our youth players get on here even when they've usually done nothing of merit, ever.

i suspect one reason we might be shit defensively is that we've got a midfielder at CB, a CB at RB and a frightening goalkeeper

Still, we've got plenty of wingers.

If you fail to replace a player of Terry's undoubted quality, you're going to ship more goals.

We won't go up with this bang average defence.

Jedinak's playing like a pub landlady. I'd have killed for a pub player tonight at CB.
