Brilliant penalty, I was shitting it when it was awarded, strangely felt calm when he stepped up.

Fabulous attitude in the interview.

Absolutely. Whatever people may think of him, he's scored at some very important moments for us. Add in the attitude and I think we should keep him.

This is the same bloke who was called a coward last season against Everton.  Steps up in the 94th minute to take a penalty after coming on as sub.  Seems quite courageous to me.  Both goals that gone us into the PL in the first place were down to him.

The coward thing was OTT. Understandable given we were fighting for our lives but it was a chance that came at him quickly.

He’ll get a chance in the team now, needs to take it.

If you could put AEG composure together with Trez's tenacity you'd have a world beater of a player, i hope they can have an bit of a influence on each other at some point.

Took the penalty like a boss. Wonder would he have been so nonchalant had the stadium been full of baying wolves.

Huge credit where it’s due - I really feared the worst when he took the ball, but that was a perfect penalty. I’ve been a critic of his, but it’s testament to his character that he wanted to take responsibility like that and prove something to a lot like me.

Been one of his biggest critics on here but it always takes some bottle to perform in that scenario. Fair play to the lad and he continues to contribute as a squad player.

Good morning villains. I really hope all you who were berating and hounding El Ghazi enough to make him suspend his social media, are in his DM’s today, apologising. A team game utilises a WHOLE squad and we need everyone... may your apology be as loud as the disrespect

Well, quite.

Or, well that's not very helpful Tyrone.  Maybe if you put as much effort into not making mistakes you wouldn't present the opponents with a gilt edged chance every single match.

What absolute rubbish. If you think dishing out abuse on Twitter is acceptable to the point where that person is having the close their account, then it says a lot about you.

I didn't say it was, and the fact that you spend your life attacking other fans on here Clampy, says even more about you.

Do you think anybody dishing out abuse is going to take a blind bit of notice of what Mings says?  Or is it just stirring things up even more?

I don't mind Tyrone's tweet.
He's quite specific about who he's aiming it to (generally the sad keyboard warriors who like to dish it out but can't take it).
He's just tweeting something that I'm sure a lot of fans thought  anyway.
More importantly it demonstrates the bond that the team has particularly as it involves Mings and El Ghazi who had quite a public spat in front of the Holte (was it last season or the season before?).
Well done Tyrone, I'm glad you're a strong vocal Villa player.
