He played an absolutely brilliant through ball and put in a quality cross for Guilbert. He faded out of it second half, but he wasn't entirely anonymous.

Is it enough though Ads? He seems to do bits and pieces in a game but I haven’t seen anything this season to suggest he’s absolutely been central to any of our victories or had a 8 or 9 out of 10 performance.

I think at TRez has more impact and gets involved more.

I think both of them have more impact as a sub than when they start.

Agreed, the problem is the same can be said of Luiz and Hourihane.

I like AEG, he just has no "stickability". One slight gust of wind and he gets knocked off the ball.

He is better on the left , cutting inside and shooting but we play JG there.

Yesterday was generally poor  , I'd have had him off at HT and put Conner on to match them in MF..certainly after the red thats what I would have done.

Doing 1 decent thing a game isn't the necessary output you need from one of your attackers. He's not good enough at the moment for Premier League football.

Sadly, I think El Ghazi, Trezeguet and Douglas are in exactly the same boat.  Seem to do far more when they come on as subs than they do when they get a whole game. Far too inconsistent.

Has there been any news on the possible career ending injury that El Ghazi picked up at Southampton?
