Didn't he have a serious injury while at Ajax?

Maybe this is why he is reluctant to get involved with the physical stuff?

Awful against Southampton. Good v Burnley.
Can have some real dreadful performances.
Sometimes does not look interested.

I think he's been ok overall but there's a lot more to come from him defiantly.

And for £7m or so that's what you get, potentially better, at the moment Ok. Bournemouth have £20m + players sitting on their bench these days. I have no qualms about his ability being questioned but the coward/lacks heart bollocks is simply just that.

2 bookings in last 2 games , can't say he isn't getting stuck in .Tried his best today as a target man but just outmuscled and out numbered by the cbs

You're the only person to mention the 'coward/lacks heart' bollocks. FWIW, I thought he did okay today, looked to get involved and was one of the very few positives from the game. Maybe he's been reading this thread.

I thought he kept at it well in an unfamiliar position and unfavourable circumstances.

For 7 million he is a bargain and one of our better players, when you consider Targett was 17 million....

He's also a good lad, helped hugely in getting us promoted and even took a break from fasting at Ramadan for the Play Off Final.

I think he's been more than OK this season a 7/10

It has to be said utterly anonymous again yesterday judging from reports. How many more chances does he get?

He played an absolutely brilliant through ball and put in a quality cross for Guilbert. He faded out of it second half, but he wasn't entirely anonymous.

He is so off the pace yesterday along with Gilbert. Our right side was a mess.
