But he doesn't like heading it, does he?

I enjoyed his header from May 27th

Technically his shoulder, I think.

I was going with the head/shoulder or as we should always remember it a bullet diving header that ripped the back of the net leaving Derby distraught and forlorn.

A classic, just like Peter Withe’s crisp volley off the sweet spot of his instep that ripped into the rigging in Rotterdam all those years ago.

I thought he looked sharp until the injury. Hope it's not too serious.

Why, other than Davies, who else is injured?

Was a real pity as think he would have had far too much for Williams. An assist and drew a yellow in his short time on the pitch. Badly missed his pace on the counter attack in second half, Trez did ok though.

There's a clue in the thread title...

Given the runs of injuries we've experienced over the last 8 or 9 years only having a couple of players out seems a blessing. And we don't even know if AEG will be out.

His diving header into the net from the halfway line in the play off final was arguably our best goal since Peter Withe scored from the halfway line in Rotterdam.

Which in turn was the best since Nicholl scored while stood at the back of Stretford End in 1977.

Deano said Anwar got "a whack on the knee" and will be assessed at Bodymoor Heath. Sounds more a knock than anything else, so hopefully not too serious.

That would suggest it will be Elmo and Trezeguet linking up down the right for the Chelsea game.
