He has pace and he has confidence to go at full backs. He’s a player that the opponents have to account for be it on the wing or as we saw in the final getting inside. He’s a young player with a great attitude and loads of potential. Like Jack he needs to start adding more goals and assist to his game. But for £8m it is a super deal.

£8m is a steal. I think he's got huge potential.

I love when he's direct and uses his blistering pace to drive past the opposition. He'll only get better and is a good age.

Bruce did pretty well on individual signings tbh, including the 17/18 loans. His issues were squad balance, terrible in game tactics and players out of position.

That and buying players first, figuring out where and in what system they play second. Then disregarding them when it didn’t work.

Very glad we’re in for El Ghazi but the key word here is potential...we’ve seen it in glimpses, but at 24 he needs to be more consistent and up his game in the Premier League. A great opportunity for him so hope he grabs and makes the most of it.

I honestly think the likes of him, Grealish and McGinn will be better in the PL with more time on the ball.

That’s a great video. He’s got great footwork and pace. Only going to get better.

Let's hope so. The encouraging thing is he did improve during the season. If he can continue his development, he'll be one hell of a player.

I like him. You need a defensive full back behind him (or we'll need an athletic DM who covers ground effectively) but he'll do well in the Prem I think. I see him getting even better. He's the kind of player who could pull something out the bag in tight games. We'll have shite games where you're just waiting for someone to do something a bit risky and just pull something from nothing. Could be as key for us as Grealish.

Without him we wouldn't have made it through the play offs.
