He’s still developing and I love his swagger. Played really well today.

I think that was his best game for us today, even though he's obviously scored in others.  He absolutely terrorised their right back from start to finish, and created an absolute mountain of chances.  That's the level of consistency we need from him, and if he can deliver it, we'll have a very good player on our hands.

A winger such as his footy ability is able to dominate his defender when the player is pretty weak and was carded.
Anwar already decent but when he plays against less opponents then he shows he's far higher ability.
I think against Bolton he can also enjoy himself.
Has some great attributes and a decent shot on him. Well played today

Those shots he was firing in today whipped with top spin were lethal...and I still don't know how Albert and Connor managed to miss their rebounds.

Absolutely agree, his best game by miles today and close to a MOTM performance.
BUT, he has got to do it more often. It been a long time since the Albion away which was the last time he was on fire and tore up the opposition.
He’s good enough to do it more often.

Consistency comes with experience. DS is probably the best type of Manager to unlock El Ghazi's undoubted talent. One player we need to sign up for next season - I believe we have the option to buy him?

As per a few pages back, when he signed there was a fair bit of noise around suggesting we could make it permanent for £5m. If that's true then we'd be silly to not go for it, he has loads of potential to keep improving.

As with all players confidence plays a big part. But I think it particularly applies to wingers. When they are short on it they hide and don’t try and attack the full back. El Ghazi right now is buoyant not only taking on the full back, cutting inside with pace to attack the middle, crossing and shooting. He’s playing at a very high level right now.

I'd still like to see how he plays more centrally personally as his crossing is still VERY hit and miss

He can frustrate at times when we're not playing well, he tends to hide a bit. And their goal came from him being far too casual with a clearance and he lost possession.

But when he's on it, that Ronaldo-stance on the ball and his ability to whip in dangerous balls do make him an asset. His understanding with Conor could easily have led to a hat-trick for Hourihane.

I was hoping for him to take the free kick on the edge of their area, just before HT, but Conor took the ball off him.
Had a bit of a strop, not surprising, as it was perfect for a right footer
