Not been a huge fan so far but good goal and seemed keen to really impress. Might've done enough to get a start on Saturday ahead of Kodj.

Superb first touch to set up the chance and an excellent finish, first right, then left.

Wonderful!!

I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much when he came on but was pleasantly surprised.  Great goal.  I'm guessing he could be benefitting from  decent coaching.

Well he came through the ranks at Ajax, and I know they're not the force they once were but I believe their coaching set-up still has a very good reputation. Lord only knows what he must have made of Bruce's training sessions.

Real style in the finish, reminded me of Gil.

Lovely little cameo last night, good wing play, good movement, created stuff for others and a beautifully struck goal.

My mates been giving me stick after me saying he was going to have great impact when I first seen him. Now DS has given him a chance and he was class I think we are going to be impressed with what he has in the locker ......

I liked how our players celebrated with him.

I think he's probably had a tough time since he arrived, and they were showing him a bit of love.

Good stuff.

Didn’t he get dropped after Sheffield United having been the only player to come out of that game with any credit at all? Another victim of Bruce’s outstanding man management and coaching. He was fucked off and has been reintegrated into the fold. There’s a very decent player in there.

No doubt he's got excellent technique but when I saw him play for Reading I noticed he didn't really challenge for headers in duels and also didn't want physical contact when challenging for the ball so get the feeling that's why we haven't seen him much so far.

You sure you didn’t dream that? Don’t think he’s ever played for Reading.

I agree. With Smith at the helm now, I reckon we'll start seeing the best of Anwar.

A very good, Ajax supporting mate is still in love with him, and reckons we've got a player. I certainly trust his judgement over that of a negative potato.

That was precision. Watching from Upper North I was right in line and shouted "goal" as soon as bll left his feet.

You're confusing him with Dave Kitson.
