I was under the impression the coaches took training not Bruce anyway.

Is that not the case ?
He should be there whether he takes it or not.

This is in no way support of Bruce but the likes of MON hardly ever was at training. He designed and developed the way He wanted to play and the coaches drilled into the players.

Now I don't think for a second tactics Steve has developed a "style " of play as yet. Well if he has he has kept it to himself

Warnock is like that aswell, it's an old school English coaching thing to leave most of the week to the coaches and then manager comes in a day or two before the game to assess things.

Have a look on Amazon Prime and you'll soon see. When you do you'll probably feel it's a different sport to "put your boots on" Bruce.

I remember hearing O'Neill saying something like he felt the players would get tired of hearing his voice if he was there constantly, so he wouldn't be there all the time as he wanted his presence to have an impact and keep players on their toes.  Guess he got it from Brian Clough.

Correct and to be honest don't think its such a bad thing if the Managers philosophy can be clearly seen in the performances - but that is the point we have a team with no identity

So what do these managers do during the days they're not training, read H&V all day at the office in VP while laughing their arses off?

Pleased Bruce has left out this waster. He was getting a bit ahead of himself by scoring and providing assists. Obviously foreign lad doesn’t know the English way so Bruce is teaching him a lesson

Quite. Talented player turns up and is surprised that a shit manager is shit, gets binned out.

File alongside Veretout, Amavi, Adama et al.
