What? No way.

The Villa View has been a real highlight of the past few seasons, especially the podcast.

Yes a shame.  By far the best pod out there, but Dan Bardell will continue with his Athletic pod with Greg Evans

First no more heroes and villains (except at Christmas), now no more Villa view- what’s going on? I blame Ellis!

There won't be a Christmas one. It'll be the start and the end of the season.

It’s a shame as I’ve enjoyed it over the past 18 months. Looks like I’ll have to give The Athletics offering a go.
It appears that they’ve all done pretty well out of it, haven’t got a clue what Bundesliga International Communication Manager entails but it certainly sounds good, fair play!

When I first read that, I thought it said there was no Christmas.

Nobody has mentioned AVFC Vlogger. Not sure if the host is a boy or a girl but watchable with similar content to Villa on Tour.

So I’ve been listening to a few of these lately as the Villa View has finished and My Old Man Said seems to be restricting more and more of its content to their subscribers.

Claret and Blue - Dan Rollinson seems to be the moderator and talks some sense, more than the other 2 that hold down jobs doing this for a living. Has some Brummie humour though which is nice for an old expat like me. Need to talk about the Villa more.

1874 - the ever reliable Dan Bardell always has the right measure on the Villa. Just agree with him 95% of the time. Gregg Evans needs to speak less though, surprised at his general poor knowledge on football and the Villa which is astonishing considering he’s been paid to cover us for so long. He actually suggested that for the Chelsea game we dropped Samatta and played Davis up top on his own - I can get stupidity like that from an ill informed, armchair Aussie thanks. You watch football for a living.

Oh and one other thing which drives me mental. The journalists general grammar and use of the English language is 3rd year high school at best. Peter Jones they ain’t.

But winner of the dumbest comment had to go to the reporter from the Liverpool Echo on the latest Claret and Blue who suggested if Liverpool were denied the Title because the league was void they’d genuinely be ‘rioting’ across Merseyside. Considering the situation the country finds itself in comments like that just amaze me (and want me to see the season voided even more). What a cretin.

That was a good interview with Bossie. I saw him in a pub in Randwick Sydney many years ago, sweating profusely- probably on his way to/from Fox Studios.

Villa View is unlistenable when Chris Dolan is on. Typical pub bore and almost always wrong but thinks he's Roy Keane and dresses like Jimmy Saville.
