His goal and the Reach one are hard to separate to be honest.
McGinns is superior, by a country mile. The way the ball pops up in front of Reach, given 50 attempts i reckon i could recreate it, there or there abouts. I think 5000 attempts at McGinns and I still wouldn't nail it. The irony that it may not win GOTM as voted for by fans, I reckon it will win goal of the season if by a professional panel

The second half was so bad against Preston that I struggle to discriminate between our better and worse performers

He could do with a break maybe?

He's been involved with Scotland over the international break, so a short rest at this point might not be the worst idea to keep him fresh.

I'm expecting to see everybody in a better light to be honest

True enough. I still intend to demand a bit of "kick him up the fucking bollocks John" amongst enjoying football with a plan and played on the floor.

Yep, I think this is a good chance for a lot of players who have been well below the standard you'd expect. I expect Grealish, McGinn, El Ghazi and Kodjia in particular to benefit over the next 3-4 months (probably Hogan, Thor and Lansbury as well).

Me too. And I think we’ll be rewarded. Dean Smith’s Brentford side weren’t afraid to mix it when the opportunity arose.

They reminded me of Fulham. Lauded for their football but a right dirty bunch of fuckers at times which a career in lower league playing will teach you.

Brentford impressed me with their ability to give it out a bit on their last visit to Villa Park, they were no shrinking violets.
