It's ok, we've got a relatively easy start to the season away at West Ham and home to Arsenal.

Unless we're planning on making wholesale changes to the starting lineup and tactics for next season, he could probably have all of July off, assuming he does a little bit of exercise, and then come back into training in August, and still be ready to go for the start of the season.

He can have about 3 weeks off and come back when the other international players do.

He does so much running off the ball, he's not a natural athlete given his size (apart from the elite-level arse) and he's 30 in October.

In an era of 5 subs regularly being made, I think 90 minute games are probably a thing of the past for him now.

Still expect him to start the majority of our matches next season and to continue to be a key player for us.

I was wondering why aldridgeboy was there. Hotel's nice and there's no kids, so he should get some rest.

I'm wondering where is he fitting into the team ? Especially bringing in two or three more signings and probably a couple of those being big name players.
I tend to think he be club captain but not necessarily a guaranteed starter though will start initially
I think once squad is finalised can see what the approach will be.
