If he sticks to finance fine but he starts getting involved in football matters - he replaced Benitez with Hodgson & declared it the best deal of his life”

That kind of ruthless approach to underachievement would be very welcome.I know Liverpool fans don't rate Hodgson as it didn't go to plan but I still like the bloke.

No, almost the exact opposite actually, he negotiated the sponsorship that stopped them getting into massive financial problems and then triggered the sale by Hicks and Gillett who were looking on course to destroy them.
