I’ve got a boat.*

*A 6 foot sailing dinghy. All got to start somewhere.

Where are are you going Risso, is it Grafham/Rutland?

Nothing that huge, a small local reservoir at Great Cransley. My eldest has been doing a sailing course today back on the IOM, where I am currently.

When I was about twelve or thirteen, I failed to properly control a launch, and resultantly rammed HMS Tiger.

Just sayin.

I notice that HH has resigned today as most fans don't agree with him.

He thinks it's about Bruce being sacked, though I reckon it's more about being a boat owner.

I want a boat

Yeah so do I. One of those big posh yatchs. No the sort with sails but the sort where you turn the key and off you go. Can't be doing with all this friggin in the riggin.
Is that because it was The Pistols and not The Clash?  ;)

When I was a kid I saved hard and bought a 2 man rubber dinghy. I had hours of pleasure out of it at saundersfoot  but one day while fishing for mackerel I got the feathers caught in it...Bloody long swim back that was.

Saundersfoot! Spent half my childhood at our caravan there. Went back a few years back, it was pleasure refamilarising myself with the layout, and even the same bins were there!

It only just occurred to me aged 44 as I typed this what a Villa sounding place it is :)

Currently in Dawlish, the Mrs learned to swim before moving over from Uganda start of the year, loving first experience of a dip in the sea in this weather! I think this thread has encouraged a tour around the bay tomorrow. I'm sure a poster on here is based in Teignmouth?

A bit of advice a multi millionaire gave me regarding boat ownership.

If it flies, floats or fucks, rent it.

Ask your source if you have to be a wanker to be rich or if twattery's just a symptom of wealth.

I don't trust people with boats. Deck shoes, pastel jumper round the shoulders, Level 42 on the stereo, propensity to bray, love the rugger, aspire to gated communities, too poor to pay tax, partial to a stereotype... oops.

I read a few people on Twitter treating him like a martyr. I wanted Bruce gone too, but then again, I don't own a boat.

I liked how he says that it's not just about Bruce, but he has other business interests which take up his time. I presume had Bruce gone, this wouldn't have mattered.

Oh, and I don't have a boat.

Agreed. I was watching some toffs playing volleyball on Croyde beach this week with a rugby ball. Twats

Yes, and ask him if rent boys fit into the equation if it flies, floats or fucks, rent it. Mention Harvey Proctor and other putrid parasites.
