AFCON must be so energy sapping. After a long season to have to go and do that in the heat just isnít conducive to good football. The games have been understandably really bland for the most part. Itís not a shock that the best players havenít performed to their high standards.



The group stages lacked excitement and goals but they were pretty much all reasonably close contests.
